  Dreamlist Media is all about the inspiration to dream, and then make those dreams come true. Because of this, Mindfly went for a whimsical design for the site that emphasizes a dreamy landscape with curving menus and a creative interface.

  Nanz Aalund creates classy artistic jewelry, and we wanted to showcase that in the design we did for her site. The cloudy background and pale colors inspire the feeling of an art gallery.

  Gonzo Corporation takes care of messes through their supply of stain and odor removers. When Mindfly was asked to design this site, the client was looking for a clean, fresh feel that emphasized the nature of their products.

  Description:
  A place where kids can bounce off the walls and parents can relax at the same time. For Jump Around, we needed to create a really fun, bright design. This site uses excellent graphics and "jumpy" headlines that get anybody in the mood to jump around.

  Escape Cord is a website designed to encourage people to learn about and use cotton cord to latch crab pots. This client requested that we design a rough-looking site with a grass roots feel to it. Therefore we came up with this "rough cut" design that still provides a simple user interface with big bold headlines and explanatory photographs.

  Neighborhood-Kids.com is a new online community devoted to keeping parents connected and up-to-date on kid-friendly and family events and general resources for parenting in the Whatcom County area. Created for parents by parents, this site is intended for anyone with young kids.

• Coastal Training - WashingtonVisit Website

  Description:
  The Coastal Training Program is designed to provide practical, science-based training to professionals who make decisions about coastal management in Washington State. Administered through the Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve (a part of the Department of Ecology and NOAA), they are committed to offering courses that are pertinent, useful, and considered to be a high priority to shoreline planners and coastal resource managers. Their site required a custom application to create and announce classes, have students register for them online, and store the information for administrative use.

  Description:
  To guarantee a flawless wedding, look no farther than The Simply Organized Bride, a northwest wedding resource for brides (and grooms). With articles, lists of local experts, events, and a detailed planning guide, they have everything needed to organize and plan the perfect wedding.

  Description:
  Looking to spruce up your fireplace? Timber Mantels creates wood fireplace mantels with a rustic natural edge from wood found in the Pacific Northwest. Their website features several galleries of these pieces of functional art, contact information to order your own, and a blog where they talk about their love for the Pacific Northwest and crafting from the beautiful wood found there.

• Diamond NetsVisit Website

  Description:
  This project was particularly satisfying to finish. We started a re-design of the old 100% Flash site back in 2003, but due to Diamond Nets booming business at the time, our project was shelved. Diamond Nets produces nets and netting for a variety of industries, such as fishing, aquaculture, sports and government projects. Take a look at the art display on the right of the new homepage; it’s an example of Diamond Nets’ work, a huge net sculpture located in northern Portugal.

  Our bookkeeping resource extraordinaire, Pavlosky Accounting, wanted a fresh look for their website. And with bookkeepers, as well all know, the details are important. Taken from their text, “…but we’re about more than just numbers. We’re driven by inspiration. We strive to inspire our clients to reach for their dreams by providing wise counsel, accurate number crunching, superior training, and a touch of motivation.” Now, why can’t Mindfly write stuff like that? Brilliant!

  Description:
  We inherited this project from a design company that went out of business and left B & P stranded with an incomplete product. Finishing this project, and training B & P to manage their own content, was a snap. B & P services snack machines and vending operations all over Whatcom and Skagit counties.

• Super Week RentalsVisit Website

  Description:
  This application was written in outdated code, but had served the client well through the last four Super Bowl games. We re-did the codebase and preserved the original design. Of course, we couldn’t resist tuning up the detail pages to make them prettier. Need to rent your property for the Super Bowl? This is the place to list your property. New sections were added to offer rent to buy deals, so if you have some property in Phoenix, act fast!

  Description:
  Aramco ExPats are expatriates living and working abroad, their spouses and children, former employees, and annuitants of Saudi Aramco the largest supplier of crude oil and natural gas liquids in the world. Saudi Aramco employs 54,000 employees from around the world, among them geologists and engineers, computer and laboratory scientists, plant workers, marine biologists, pilots, firefighters, physicians and teachers. Many expatriates live and raise their families in Saudi Aramco funded compounds that offer state-of-the-art school systems, recreation facilities, and comfortable family living.

  Rusty Swayne is one of the original founders of Mindfly, Inc and is the current President. This is Rusty's personal blog which contains posts to friends, family and collegues on a variety of subjects. The blog has an original theme designed by Mindfly's lead designer Heather Alvis and utilizes the open source project BlogEngine.NET blog software.

This company is made up of a group of high quality home buiders in Bellingham, Washington that is selling their homes without the added costs of using a real estate agency. This website utilizes a Mindfly-generated feature which pulls their real-time listings directly from the Northwest MLS. Website design by Baron & Company.

• Dead FastVisit Website

  Description:
  Under the same parent company as Gonzo Corporation, Dead Fast required its own branding, color scheme, and front page design while still being consistent with the other sites. By adding its own style to the design, Mindfly managed to both conform to the other sites and make Dead Fast unique.

  Guides Choice is a sales mark of the American Alpine Institute, and it encompasses the extensive field testing done by AAI guides. The Institute is an international guide service and climbing school that offers expeditions, ascents, and training courses in 6 states and 16 countries.

  With over four generations of fishing experience, Vis Seafood's exemplifies the Old World family tradition. From turn-of-the century Croatian coasts to present-day Alaskan waters, their family has always offered consumers a fresh, premium quality product. Many of their products are handled directly from the fishermen to the store, eliminating the extra handling and middlemen which increases chances of seafood degradation.

  Description:
  Tour de Whatcom is an annual bike ride to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County. Each rider chooses the length of ride - 25, 50 or 105 miles, perfect for a family outing and serious riders alike. Riders get to see great views including Mt Baker, Lake Whatcom, valleys, rivers, lush farmland, beaches and Puget Sound all in one fairly level ride.

  Smile4u is a family owned business that is one of the top sellers of land parcels on eBay. Smile4u maintains a successful eBay store and they sell property on their own website. Char requested an all out "bells & whistles" design, so we provided her with this outdoor ranch look that illustrates the enthusiasm Smile4u brings to online Land Sales. *Note: This site is still in the development phase and isn't live yet, but we think the design is unique enough that it is valuable to our portfolio.

  Description:
  Boardwalk Property Management is owned by Heather and Bernie Pavlosky. They purchased the Bennett Guest House in 2006 from Robert Atwood, who had owned the home since 1954. They and their two sons live next door, offering quick solutions to any problems and serving as an area resource for guests.

  Description:
  LFS Marine Outdoor has been supplying commercial fishing gear, marine hardware, outdoor work wear, and marine safety supplies to the Pacific Northwest for over 40 years. In recent years they've expanded to include sport fishing gear and tackle for saltwater fishing, shrimp and crab gear, recreational boat accessories, and a wider range of outdoor clothing.

  Description:
  Gato Verde provides clients of all ages and abilities with a fun and unique outdoor sailing adventure. Customized sailing instruction or carefree skippered sailing charters can run from 1.5 hours to seven days aboard their comfortable and efficient 42 foot long catamaran.

  Description:
  The Skagit Casino and Resort is a company that had their own web designer, and they simply needed help in creating the web pages. Mindfly was able to turn their design and the vision for their website into a working and well-used website. The Skagit uses thier website to announce upcoming shows and specials, to allow guests to check room rates and availability, and to purchase gift cards online.

  Description:
  Semiahmoo Resort is a business that required an integration of e-commerce and a few custom applications with their existing website. Mindfly provided the company with an e-commerce solution that works seamlessly with their design, and allows their staff to monitor sales and clients from a simple internet connection.

  Haydrian Corporation is a group of risk management professionals that required a website where clients could learn about their company, and also use their site as a reference tool. The site is built around the Mindfly Content Manager so that the clients can update news articles and press releases as they occur.

  Lead Check also retains the same parent company as Gonzo and Dead Fast and required a consistent design that would stand out to showcase specific lead testing products as well as continue to match the same themes as its siblings. The continued use of vivid colors on the site continues to make it pop out and catch the eye.

• Pacific Northwest Water Quality DataVisit Website

  Description:
  Commercial shellfish growers depend on good water quality data. The more information they have about temperature, chlorophyll levels, salinity, turbidity, and dissolved oxygen, the better decisions they can make about managing their mariculture operations. To address this issue, three National Estuarine Research Reserves (NERR) in Alaska, Washington, and Oregon have partnered with NANOOS on this pilot project to bring real time water quality data to shellfish growers.

The company required a simple design that would really show off the images of the architecture. We were able to provide them with a website plus detailed instruction that will allow them to add new properties to their gallery.

  Live City Guides is a site primarily for people who are interested in moving to a new area or finding out information about the sites and events occurring in cities across the country. This is a multi-faceted site that includes real estate and job searches, local events, advertising, and up-to-date local information for cities in the United States.

  Description:
  The Whatcom Outdoor Expo is an event that allows local outdoor vendors a chance to connect with local community members in the spring as people begin to jump into outdoor adventures. The design of the site needed to incorporate bright colors, multiple photos of outdoor activities that would be represented at the event, as well as room for logos from each of the vendors and sponsors.

  Description:
  Barlean's Fishery is a local company that uses an environmentally friendly method for catching fish. They were in need of an e-commerce section, an informational section, and the ability to edit the content of their site. The idea behind the design was to highlight reef netting fishing vessels, and to show enticing photos of seafoods.

  Icy Straits is a local seafood company that sells excellent quality seafood products. They needed a site that showed examples of the types of seafood they sell and contact information so their customers could locate them. We maintained the look they used on their advertisements, and provided a simple website that showcased their products.

  Description:
  This group needed a site that would be informative for various types of patients. They required simple navigation, inviting graphics and a basic layout that could easily be edited by their own staff. In addition to the public part of the site, there is a section for employees to login so they can view current schedules and calendars according to their position in the practice.

  Nerra is a network of estuarian reserves throughout the United States. The organization required a website with a new, fresh design, and that would be simple to update with new information.

  Northwest Straits is a business that has a number of different types of visitors. People come to the site looking for information about local meetings and projects the marine conservation initiative is working on. They already had several wonderful photos and they needed to revitalize their old website with a new, cleaner look and simpler navigation.
