As the most senior member of the Mindfly Studio I have the distinct honor of having the most history to talk about in this bio section of our website. Fortunately for you I will be mercifully brief. Home was Philadelphia, as was college at Temple University. Temple is a “small” school with a mere 35,000 students. I knew everyone. First post college job was in Sacramento CA for an electronic testing company, and I’ve lived on the west coast ever since.
1997 found me in San Francisco working for a web design company and loving it! I was living on a sailboat and commuting to SF by ferry every day. How civilized! The bachelor life was brought to a close, and once engaged to be married, and with a dog (no… not engaged to the dog) living on the sailboat ceased to be a viable option. Buying a home in San Francisco also wasn’t really an option, so we took a leisurely road trip up the west coast, and we stopped at every city with an active waterfront. Bellingham was the winner hands down!
2000 found me working at Mindfly and developing relationships with clients helping them create and manage websites and web projects. If I’m not here at Mindfly furiously typing away (hunt-n-peck method) I can be found hanging out with my daughter who is 14 months old as I type this bio, and has taken her first steps yesterday! I’m also very much involved in sailboat racing, and if you are ever looking over the bay on any given Summer Wednesday evening I should be out as crew on one of the many boats on the water. What is my job you ask? As an owner of Mindfly I have the dubious honor of wearing many hats, and the one I get the most enjoyment from is the business development and marketing. I spend time with clients clarifying their vision of what they want to get from their website, and how it can best serve their needs. I love learning about all the businesses that are out there, and sharing all the creativity and tenacity of business people. We live in such a great time with all the opportunities that the Internet provides.
